Where we learn, play, and grow

I am a passionate caregiver, especially for the most vulnerable. Teaching and taking care of children has been my dream from a very young age. I have been blessed with two beautiful daughters with whom I learned and have had the best experiences as a mother. Today I have the opportunity to teach and care for children and make that dream come true. I want to welcome all my little treasures, where we will learn, have fun and grow together.

FACILITIES, ACTIVITIES AND EXPLORATION

My infant room is filled with educational and age-appropriate toys and materials. I follow a weekly curriculum including the following areas:

Music & Movement/Story Time: Includes self-expression, songs, books, instruments, and fingerplays.
Art & Sensory: Includes simple art projects, colouring, and many different items to help with sensory development.
Gross Motor Play
Fine-Motor Play & Self: Help Skills Building—Includes stacking blocks, connecting toys, cooking projects, and manipulative toys.
Play & Learn Time: There is scheduled time at the beginning and end of each day for the children to explore the room and play with their favourite toys. This is a good time for them to develop language and social skills.

As a Hispanic childcare provider, I will provide a safe and stimulating environment in which children can play, learn and develop new skills giving them the chance to develop a second language. My aim will be to encourage children to participate in activities, such as arts and crafts or reading, and help them to be independent.
